Mentoring and Counseling: The facilitators mentor the students in groups (not more than 15 at a time) every Friday, discuss and counsel the students if necessary. A meticulous record is maintained on the development of the child. The School Counselor holds sessions with students regularly, as needed.
Recreation: The students unwind with movie shows during weekends, carefully selected by the Film Committee.
Health: Monthly health checkups are held class wise for all the students.

LIFE AT BRGS (ACTIVITIES, SPORTS AND CELEBRATIONS)
Co-curricular Activities at Basava Residential Girls School include activities designed by the separate dance and music departments. Different types of musical instruments are available in this department and students take part in orchestral events including Vichada Guyana Classical singing. Students also take part in educational excursion and personality development programs. The audio-visual lab of Bangalore’s Basava Residential Girls School offers the chance of viewing educational DVDs and other films. Among these, other co-curricular activities include Scouts & Guides Training, Physical education, Yoga and Speech/Personality Development Programs and a Gymnasium. Basava Residential Girls School offers facilities for a wide range of sports and games. Arrangements are made for roller skating, table tennis, throw ball, badminton, tennis, basketball and cycling. The grounds are pristine and students can practice their skills so that they may hone them whenever necessary. Basava Residential Girls School focuses on Indian culture and traditions at all National festivals – religious or otherwise in a secular manner.
